I’m Performing in Singapore (First Overseas Show)
Wow. Fully independent. No manager. No booking agent. Nobody pitching for me or writing my grants. Really built this brick by brick.
Excited to announce my first overseas performance taking place in Singapore on September 26 and September 27. That’s right, two sets, both free, both in the evening in the heart of Singapore.
This will be my first time out in this country, so y’all know I’ma maximize on my time out there with content for days. Will also be traveling around the region after that for more content and music related adventures.
Proud of myself for how far I’ve come. Took way longer in life than I would’ve expected, but nobody’s really done what I’ve done before so there’s no blueprint. Figuring it out as I go. Thank you for being on this journey with me.
Custom “Motherland” Suit
Shout my people at Infinity Suits for creating this incredible work of art.
A lot of attention to detail and care went into creating this product. There’s a lot of subtle nods to Motherland and the Spitty brand. I worked with their team carefully to pick out all the colors and designs of every single aspect of the suit.
Get 10% off until the end of September if you order with Infinity Suits. Just let them know Spitty sent you.
What’s My Next Move?
Can I just get real with y’all?
I’m really trying to figure things out. The music scene I was coming up in in Toronto over the last 6 years feels like it’s dying. My audience has really shifted to being global, with a heavy base in India. I want to go tour out there and establish more of a presence, so that’s the next move. Going to Singapore is also going to be a nice launchpad into the South Asia/Southeast Asia market.
I had a call with a big booking agent from here in Toronto and he was saying I should just focus on Toronto/Brampton/GTA and being the biggest South Asian rapper here. To be honest, I’m already top 4 in my opinion behind Nav, AR Paisley, and SVDP. I’m just unsure if people in Brampton and the area still care about rap like that in 2025. I know they definitely do in India, but I haven’t seen that same energy here in Brampton except from the international students.
This upcoming festival is a big milestone. First of many I’m sure. Gotta capitalize on this moment and continue to elevate.
I’ve come a long way, with an incredibly long way to still go. Just gotta keep going.
