Around The World Ft. D.Raashi Is Out Now

3 years later, I’m back with another album. Taking a different approach, this album is a lot more collaborative, and a lot more intentional with the production and musicality.

To start things off, we have Around The World. Produced by fellow Gujarati artist ProdByMrii, this song samples classic garba music to create a modern boom bap banger. I handle the first verse and hook while Bombay femcee D.Raashi lays chopper flows in Gujarati on the second verse.

This is the first time I’ve sampled anything Gujarati specifically, and I aim to continue to learn about and blend the two cultures I grew up between (South Asian and Western).

My First Performance In British Columbia

Kelowna, BC was a legendary vibe. I had the opportunity to perform at Do It For The Culture Fest this year, a great festival that combines a music industry conference with an incredible 3 day festival full of emerging Canadian talent.

I had the opportunity to speak with important music professionals, connect & party with great music artists, perform in front of an energetic & responsive crowd, and explore the city, its food, vibes, and surrounding areas.

We had a packed few days out there; I’ll be releasing the vlog and more content over the next few weeks.

From Gujarat, my parents immigrated to the United States of America, where I was born. So, it’s only right that the next song after the Gujarati-inspired Around The World is my my collaboration with American-Indian artists Vikki S, RMS, & Ravi Ray.

This song releases on Friday June 28, but I had to give you subscribers an early taste.

I Just Hit 5000 Subscribers On YouTube

I’ve had this YouTube channel since 2013, and was stuck under 1500 subscribers for years until 2021. Thanks to YouTube Shorts, I’ve now been consistently growing my channel and am currently at 5000 subscribers.

Still working on getting consistent views and engagement over there like on Instagram, but it’s a day by day process. Grateful for every milestone.
